JBS ODR Series refrigerated air dryers are designed to condense and remove moisture from compressed air produced by a compressor. The ODR-300 delivers a 30 m³/min air capacity, 7–16 bar working pressure and a +3°C pressure dew point for professional compressed-air systems.
Water vapour contained in atmospheric air may condense inside pipelines after compression and cooling. This condensate can contribute to pipe corrosion, pneumatic-equipment failures, surface defects during painting and reduced production reliability.
+3°C Pressure Dew Point
The ODR Series cools warm, moisture-laden compressed air under controlled conditions. Water vapour condenses during cooling, is separated from the airflow and is discharged through the condensate-drain system. The treated air is then brought to a suitable temperature before entering the compressed-air network.
A +3°C pressure dew point is commonly used for moisture control in workshops, automotive services and general industrial applications. Systems operating in sub-zero conditions or requiring a lower pressure dew point may need a different drying technology.
ODR-300 Technical Specifications
The ODR-300 provides 30 m³/min capacity, 7–16 bar working pressure, a +3°C pressure dew point and 5.80 kW power consumption. It uses R-410A refrigerant and has a listed weight of 300 kg.
Actual dryer capacity can vary according to compressed-air inlet temperature, ambient temperature, operating pressure and the compressor’s real airflow.
Applications
ODR Series refrigerated compressed-air dryers can be used in automotive workshops, tyre shops, paint and coating facilities, CNC systems, packaging lines, automation equipment, factories and industrial plants operating pneumatic machinery.
Suitable pre-filters and after-filters may be required for painting, precision production and other applications with stricter air-quality requirements.
Selecting the Correct Air Dryer
Selection should not be based only on compressor motor power. Actual airflow, operating pressure, inlet temperature, ambient conditions, required pressure dew point, connection size and daily operating period must be assessed together.
