How to Choose a Professional Water Jetting Machine

Choose a powerful industrial water jetting machine based on more than pressure alone. Match working pressure, water flow, pump design and nozzle configuration to rust, paint, coatings and demanding industrial cleaning applications.

500 Bar Makine Water Jet Machine

A high-pressure water jetting machine is designed for demanding industrial applications where conventional pressure washers may not provide sufficient cleaning or surface impact.

For professional selection, maximum pressure should never be considered alone. Water flow rate, pump construction, nozzle configuration, surface strength and duty cycle determine how effectively the system performs.

This is also reflected in leading international equipment: professional 500-bar systems are offered with significantly different flow rates depending on the intended application.

500 Bar or 600 Bar?

The JBS-500 500 BAR High-Pressure Water Jet provides adjustable 30–500 bar pressure and 41 L/min flow. Its high water volume makes it a strong option for large industrial surfaces, heavy equipment and applications where loosened contamination needs to be removed quickly.

The JBS-600 600 BAR High-Pressure Water Jet provides up to 600 bar with 30 L/min flow and is better suited to applications requiring greater surface impact, including suitable rust, paint and hardened coating removal.

Higher pressure is therefore not automatically better. 500 bar with higher flow can outperform a higher-pressure system in certain large-area cleaning tasks, while 600 bar may be preferable where stronger localized impact is required.

Pump, Nozzle and Surface Matter

Pressure loosens contamination, while water flow helps transport it away. Nozzle type determines how that energy reaches the surface.

For this reason, the correct system should be selected according to the contamination, substrate, working distance, hose length and required productivity—not simply the highest pressure rating.

Typical applications include industrial equipment, concrete and metal surfaces, shipyards, heavy machinery and surface preparation.

These pressure classes require trained operators, pressure-rated accessories and appropriate PPE. They are not intended for normal vehicle bodywork.

The best industrial water jetting machine is the one that delivers the correct combination of pressure, water flow, pump performance and nozzle technology for the actual application.
